Now that you have their phone you look at their call history that is stored there. Look at both both the ‘incoming’ and ‘outgoing’ call history list, and write down all the numbers you don’t recognize on a piece of paper.

Once you have your list complete, it’s time to put the phone back to where you got it and move on to the next step.

Review the list and strike out any more you recognize as having a legitimate reason to be there. Your doctor, lawyer or your partners best friend for example. The one’s you’re interested in are the ones left on your list, the numbers that could belong to your partners illicit lover.

One or more will stand out. A number being called more than others. A number called several times just before you left to visit family out of town. Incoming calls when the caller is confident you won’t be around to pick up the phone instead of your partner.
