Basically, what I have for you today is in the form of half advice, half request, and that is:

PLEASE BE CAUTIOUS AND DON’T JUMP THE GUN!

Now, what do I mean by that?

If you’re already back on talking terms with your ex again, then this is something to keep in mind - just because they’re acting nice and friendly doesn’t mean they’re interested in getting back together. You may hope for that, but it isn’t necessarily true.

In fact, there’s any number of reasons why someone might want to keep an ex in their life - from simply having a good friend they’re used to, to having some emotional backup in case things go sour with their rebound… Sadly, sometimes it’s just for the sex.

I understand you may be disappointed to hear this, but the reason I’m writing this today is to spare you an even bigger disappointment in the future.
